Among the numerous features, Google Meet also allows scheduling a meeting in advance. This allows the host to gather the participants on time and start the meeting without lag. Scheduled meetings are also more convenient within an organization than instant meetings. Scheduled meetings ensure the availability of the participants beforehand. 

You can schedule Google Meet in multiple ways. You can copy the meeting link beforehand and share it with the participants, or you can schedule it in a Google Calendar.

How to Schedule a Google Meet in Advance?

Method 1: Copying the Meeting Link

Step 1

Open Google Meet

Step 2

Click on the New meeting option to reveal the options.

Step 3

Click on the Create a Meeting for Later option.

Step 4

A joining link and code appear on the screen. You can copy the info and share it with the participants beforehand.

Method 2: Using Google Calendar

Step 1

Go to Google Meet and click on the New Meeting option.

Step 2

Click open the Schedule in Google Calendar option from the options that appear.

Step 3

The Google Calendar window appears, where you can enter the required time, date, and other essential meeting requirements. You can make the necessary changes and successfully schedule it in the Calendar.

Step 4

You can also check for the available slots within the organization by clicking on the Find A Time option in the window.

Step 5

Once the necessary changes are made, click on the Save option at the top of the window to save the meeting into the Calendar.
