Snooze is an important inbox function available in all Gmail accounts online. It works exactly like the snooze button in alarms where activity is postponed for later. The snooze option in Gmail enables the user to select any number of emails to temporarily disappear from the inbox and appear later on a pre-decided time and date so that the user can take an ideal action regarding them. That is, some people experience an overflow of emails in their inbox and usually, they find it difficult to reply or take necessary action on every email that they receive immediately. How to snooze an email on a computer?
Step 1. Open the Gmail account on the computer.
Step 2. Pick the email that wants to be snoozed and place the cursor over the email to find a clock icon on the right end of the email.
Step 3. Click on the clock icon to reveal several snooze options to choose from.
Step 4. Once clicked on a specific snooze option, a snooze notification will appear at the bottom left of the Gmail window.
Step 5. If an opened email has to be snoozed, find the clock icon on the top left of the email.
Step 6. Click on the clock icon to reveal the snooze options and choose one.
Step 7. Once a snooze option is chosen, a notification will appear immediately on the bottom left of the Gmail window.
How to find snoozed emails on a computer?
Step 1. Open the Gmail account on the device.
Step 2. Find the folder titled Snoozed on the left sidebar of the Gmail window.
Step 3. Click on the Snoozed folder to find all the messages that were snoozed by the user to date.
Step 4. Another way to find the snoozed messages in Gmail is through the search bar that appears at the top of the Gmail window.
Step 5. Type “Snoozed” into the search bar and press enter.
Step 6. The snoozed emails will appear immediately.
How to snooze an email on a mobile device?
Step 1. Open the Gmail application on the device.
Step 2. Find and long press the email that has to be snoozed until three vertical dots appear at the top search bar.
Step 3. Click on the three vertical dots and choose the snooze option from the drop-down menu.
