Casting a video to a television screen means streaming the video on the television with the help of a casting device like Google’s Chromecast. The casting device will be connected to the television screen and download the streaming content from the device used. The only catch is that the device with the video and the casting device should be connected to the same wi-fi network. Otherwise, the function does not work.
Also, the device with the video has to have the latest version of Google Chrome in it. The steps below explain how to cast a Google Drive video on a TV.
How to Cast Google Drive Videos to TV?
Connect the TV and your device to the same wi-fi network.
To connect your device to the casting device, open Google Chrome.
Find the three dots icon at the top right corner of Google Chrome and click it open.
From the options that appear, choose Cast and select the name of the Chromecast near you.
Once the connection is complete, go to the Google Drive folder where the video is available.
Right-click on the video to reveal options. Choose the Cast option and choose the name of your television to start casting.
