Recording meetings on Google Meet is impossible for every individual unless you are the meeting organizer or a member of the same organization as the organizer. Also, the organization’s administrator should enable the recording function for you to start using it. Participants from outside the organization would find it nearly impossible to record the meeting. The recordings contain only visuals of the presentation window, not the other windows or messages on the screen.
Follow the easy steps below on how to record meetings on Google Meet.
How to Record Meetings on Google Meet?
Go to Google Meet.
Start a meeting or join a meeting.
Find the Activities icon at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the icon to reveal multiple options. If you are authorized to record the meeting, there will be a Start Recording option among them. Click on it to start recording. A message will be sent to the meeting participants that you have begun recording the session.
You can either wait for the meeting to end or for everyone to leave for the recording to stop automatically. Or else, you can click on the Stop Recording option to stop the recording midway.
